The Art of Non-Doing – Peter Brierley

A zoom talk by Peter Brieley

Sunday 5th May  –  6pm UK Time

What is the mysterious & subtle taoist art of Wu Wei? What does it actually mean? Can it help us both on a physical and spiritual level by moderating our thinking to just “let it be” and not let our erratic mental activity become our undoing. We will explore modern day applications and reflect on how this philosophy of balance and harmony is really needed in our current turbulent times.

Peter joined the Theosophical Society in 2015. He was drawn to Theosophy after studying and participating experientially with the Interfaith Foundation, in the world religions and found himself specifically attracted to the mystical teachings. Peter is Secretary of Blavatsky Lodge and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Theosophical Society England and Wales.

Peter has travelled widely as an IT manager for 22 years, working for large American banks, living in Japan and Hong Kong. In later life he retrained as a holistic swimming & Alexander Technique teacher. Peter, now retired lives with his wife in Hertfordshire.
