Magic is the mysterious method of manipulating the occult forces of nature for particular purposes. It’s been used by our ancestors since ancient times both benevolently and malevolently. In this fascinating talk Ifigeneia Kastamoniti explores how different cultures were able to ‘ensoul’ stone statues and other animated artifacts with magical energies for healing and prophecy.
